In November of 2022, the Sun Prairie Area School District brought forward to the voters a $9 million operational referendum. The Communications Team led the District’s outreach with the community to make sure voters were informed. This involved print pieces (1 mailed brochure, 1 mailed postcard, 1 poster for schools), social media engagement, in-person engagement events, videos, and a webpage. The campaign required constant collaboration with various District departments and community partners. The referendum passed with 60% voting in favor versus 40% voting against. In the summer of 2022, Sun Prairie Schools launched a new 5-year Strategic Framework with input from the community. I was tasked with creating a designed version of the new framework. I also created an interactive graphic of the new framework that appears on the District website. View the Framework as a PDF
In the Fall of 2022, Sun Prairie Schools sought community input to create a new strategic plan for the District. I was tasked with designing assets to help promote the different aspects of the campaign. This included graphics for Two-Question Tuesday surveys, social media advertisements, and assets for two Ideas Fairs where participants could offer input in person through interactive activities.
