Christmas Mass Times Advertisement

A local newspaper allows Dubuque parishes to share their service schedules for Christmas. I designed this advertisement to share the Christmas Mass times at St. Joseph the Worker. I designed it to be noticeable and easily readable using the limited space we were allowed.

Dubuque Area Youth Minsters Christmas Party

The Dubuque Area Youth Ministers hosted a Christmas part at St. Joseph the Worker in December of 2018. I designed three images and flyers for the Dubuque area parishes to use to inform their parishioners about the party. The three images and flyers have distinct characters to them so that the parishes can choose which they think will be most effective in reaching their youth. 50th Anniversary Invitation

In December of 2018, St. Joseph the Worker will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its current church building with a dinner in the church basement. I used InDesign to create invitations to be sent out to parishioners. I also used Illustrator to create a logo for the 50th Anniversary. Octoberfest Advertisement

The parish takes out a full-page advertisement in the Dubuque Advertisement for its fall festival. I created this year's Octoberfest advertisement in InDesign. The purpose of the advertisement was to let the wider Dubuque community know about Octoberfest and the various aspects associated with it.

Throwback Bulletin Covers

I redesigned the Parish Bulletin in the Summer of 2018. To help let parishioners know about the redesign, I used InDesign to create four "throwback" covers for the parish bulletin. I looked through the bulletin archives and recreated the cover design of the bulletin as it looked in the 1970s, 80s, 90s and the early 2000s. Parish Committees Brochure

I am currently in the process of redesigning SJTW's printed publications. I used InDesign to create a new look for the Religious Education Parents' Newsletter. This new version of Carpenter's Tools improves readability and brings the design in line with the new direction for all SJTW publications. (more…)

SJTW Monogram

As part of a larger parish rebrand, I used Illustrator to create a new monogram to serve as a logo for the parish. This logo appears on many images shared on social media. The monogram is intended to serve as an easily identifiable connection to St. Joseph the Worker. (more…)
